“Stage PSYCHO-PASS Virtue and Vice” will begin on Thursday, April 18th. We will deliver the appearance of the enclosure coverage and the public genepro that was held prior to the opening of the event.

This stage was produced as part of the Next Project, which is handled by the “PSYCHO-PASS” series.

The first movie, “Sin and Punishment”, will be screened for the third consecutive month from January 25, 2019, and the second “First Guardian” will be released on February 15. The third anime series is currently on air.

This first stage production is a completely original spin-off story written by Makoto Fukami, the screenwriter of the anime “PSYCHO-PASS” series.

The stage is mainly the original characters of the Public Security Bureau Criminal Division Three Sections.

Resolving the incident caused by the “Some flaws” of the Sibula system *, centered on the inspector Haruhi Kuizumi, who plays Hiroki Suzuki, and the inspector Kano Hiro, who is played by Takuma Wada Strive towards

* Shibura system: A comprehensive life-long welfare support system that measures and measures all human psychological states and personality trends.

Vocational aptitude and criminal coefficient (risk of becoming a criminal) are also analyzed by the Shibura system, and people believe that this measurement result is an index for living an “ideal life”.

Synopsis
Surveillant Haruhi Kuizumi, who belongs to the Public Security Bureau Criminal Affairs Section 3, will investigate the serial murder case with the life of the Director-General of the Public Security Bureau.

The body was cut into 18 parts and numbered on each of them. The crimes were repeated in the same way, all of which were flashyly decorated in the back streets of the downtown area and in four places. "Why did you make a number, why did you fall apart, why did you spread corpses in four places?"

Kyusen will proceed with the investigation with the inspector Kano Hiroshi and the officers who belong to the same three sections. While examining the victim's identity, a device named “Chinese Room” came to be involved in the incident.

At the end of that, there was a psychological hazard aimed at worsening the color of the citizens, with disorganized corpses scattered throughout the city. An armed struggle organization called “Humanist” raised a terrorist crime statement, criticized the Sibular system for a serious flaw and foretelled a larger incident.

As the investigation proceeds, the existence of a traitor emerges inside the Public Security Bureau. The “Chinese room” that holds the key to the incident is the humanist's aim, and who is the “traitor”?

“PSYCHO-PASS” describes a society in which the Sibula system is believed like a god.

Meanwhile, how should people live when “justice”, which they believed in a certain distortion, sways? In the first place, what is “living like a human being”?

In search of a correct answer no one knows, they continue to struggle.

Nowadays, the presence of machines has become so great that “human work is robbed by AI”. That's why this work echoes the hearts of many people and is a loved work.

▲ Observer Haruhi Kuizumi (Kusenharuto) played by Hiroki Suzuki

▲ Kano Hiroshi, the inspector who plays Takuma Wada

The fusion of the video and the stage in this work was truly a masterpiece, as Hiroki Suzuki, starring in the boxing interview, said, “The stage of the world view in a theme park”.

The force created by the video and the realistic sensation created by the stage combine to make you forget the sense of living in the real world.

I felt like I entered the world of “PSYCHO-PASS” and became a witness to an incident that occurred in a society dominated by the Sibula system.

▲ The highlights of the three members

What is "justice" for you and "humanity"? What do you want to protect and what you must protect?

In addition to the production of the latest technology and the wonderful live feeling that can only be achieved on the stage, this work also appeals to the depth of the story that comes to mind.

I hope you will burn this stage with a new history in the “PSYCHO-PASS” series.

“Sense of drawing on a white canvas” Box comment

In addition to two members, Hiroki Suzuki, who plays the role of Haruhi Kuizumi, and Takuma Wada, who plays the role of Kano Furnace, as well as three directors, Katsuyuki Motohiro, the director who served as the general director for the movie version.

He talked about the difficulties and highlights of putting popular works in the original story, and the things he was conscious of when creating characters.

――Please tell us about the highlights of this work.

Hiroki Suzuki (as Haruhi Kuizumi): I wanted to go up to the stage early in the rehearsal hall.

This work uses a lot of lighting and images, so I could only imagine during the practice, but that part came to the theater and a lot of new discoveries came out.

If you come, I think that the world view of “PSYCHO-PASS Psychopaths” like in a theme park has expanded.

Not only do you get a 360-degree experience of the world view of Psychopaths, but you're finished on a stage where you can experience one attraction together.

Takuma Wada (Kano furnace): “PSYCHO-PASS” Each individual actor infuses a soul into a work with energy, creating a character that lives in that worldview.

While there are many 2.5D works, it is this "stage PSYCHO-PASS psychopath" that is different from it or borrows the power of the original, but pours the power that the actor originally has and finishes it into a new work I wonder what it is.

We are excited to see if we can get to production soon.

Katsuyuki Motohiro (Director): It's a theater, but it feels like you're watching a movie.

I think that I can apply all the productions I have cultivated so far in this work.

I borrowed the power of the two people to say a difficult task, and the action is unusual.

I'm looking forward to seeing how customers react to this. I think the staff was very nervous.

--Since this is a spin-off work, please tell us if you had any hard time making the original character role.

Suzuki: Do you say that you had a hard time, I would like to apologize to those who were reading magazine interviews that I received while taking key visuals (laughs).

My personality has changed 180 degrees. It's not very refreshing, and it's finished without the feeling of a newcomer.

It was pretty fun and I laughed playing this character only when it was key visual. I'm laughing for the first time since then.

I am glad that I felt such a fresh feeling.

One thing that hasn't changed is the faith in Shibura. I feel that it is stronger than what I originally drew.

Wada: With the help of the screenwriters and directors, we made the characters of the Kano Fire Furnace all three of us around, rather than creating an original character.

There is a strong sense that each team has formed a team with three members rather than how each one is.

Although it is not in the anime "PSYCHO-PASS Psychopath", I think that it would have been a public security bureau where you would expect that there would be such a team if there were three members in the anime.

Overall, I feel very strongly that I made this work called “PSYCHO-PASS”.

――I would like to ask Mr. Motohiro, director. How was your first time creating a stage with Wada-san and Suzuki-san?

Motohiro: Both of you were talking to a very popular actor, so if you thought that it was a very disgusting guy ... you came all white (laughs).

He did whatever he said. If you say "Well, can you dance here?"

Suzuki: That's why I was really interested in what kind of person Mr. Motohiro was, so “let's go white” was also a theme.

Motohiro: I was surprised. It was like drawing a picture on a white canvas.

It was the first time that I mixed all of the video, mapping, theatrical performance, and the stage ... I think this is a sequel.

The more you do it, the more fun and fun it is. I think this is the power of both.

Wada: It was fun in the practice room. There is a feeling of making things.

-How was your impression of Motohiro?

Suzuki: It was my first time with Mr. Motohiro, so I was really looking forward to seeing what kind of production he was going to do.

As my goal, I looked at the book and brought the base of the role, but I was looking forward to how to guide it with other actors on the spot, so I feel pretty white Do you say you jumped in?

Motohiro: You were a different person.

Suzuki: In a sense, it was also blank, so it seems that it has become even more (laughs).

Motohiro: At first I thought, “I've come to Hyakumaru!” It was interesting to become Haruhi Kusen gradually.

Wada: I entered the rehearsal hall with a lot of excitement, but in fact I made a mistake on the first day of rehearsal and entered the day earlier.

Then Motohiro and the staff were in the middle of a meeting, and as soon as I entered, I felt like “This guy came!” (Laughs).

I met Motohiro for the first time at that time, but listened to the words of the actors.

While giving us an environment to challenge, we also have our own world, so it was fun to work with each other.

-By the way, you came about three days earlier.

Wada: That's right. I was too excited.

Motohiro: That episode and the impact at that time also affect the character.

――Please give a message to the customer at the end.

Suzuki:Originally a work with many original fans, and the third anime is currently being broadcast, it is a stage where expectations are increasing.

Once again, we feel the appearance of the world view of “PSYCHO-PASS”.

Speaking of 2.5-dimensional works, you can prepare in the original, but the stage version of the psychopath character is not in any work, so this time it is one of the attractions that you can see in a clean state.

I hope you can enjoy “PSYCHO-PASS” with new possibilities.

Wada: In addition to the performances in Tokyo and Osaka, live viewing will also be held, so I'm looking forward to seeing this work delivered to PSYCHO-PASS fans all over Japan.

Because it is an original story, it is my hope if we can communicate the new appeal of “PSYCHO-PASS” to our original fans.

We will run all the way to Chiaki Raku, so thank you.

Motohiro: I thought about the cut ratio so that it could be used for live viewing, so I hope you enjoy it.

――Please tell us why you made the stage this time.

Motohiro: “PSYCHO-PASS” was not only an anime, but also a novel, comic, and radio drama, so it was part of that stage.

I wanted to do it all the time, but if I failed here, the “PSYCHO-PASS” project would stop, so I decided to make it absolutely interesting and packed all the lengths I wanted (laughs).

--Are there any co-stars who feel bad in color?

Suzuki: That's when you name someone, you are the most turbid (laughs). I'll come with a scary question ~ What should I do?

Wada: That's a nephew.

Motohiro: Encouraged by the staff and worked hard to avoid turbid hues.

Suzuki: Do you think that it will become our mental care by having you watch it? I would be grateful if you could cooperate as part of the treatment.
